The Festival 2016 presented the performance of The White Dance Theatre (Poland) for the first time in Russia on 22d of November on the stage of Alexandrinsky theatre. Founder, head and choreographer of the company Izadora Weiss is a recognized master of contemporary dance. Weiss is an author of more that 30 productions that is highly appreciated by ballet critics and professional community. The company frequently goes on tour in Europe and USA. The performance included three ballets: “Phaedra”, “Death and the Maiden” and the latest production of the company “Tristan&Isolde” with music of Krzysztof Penderecki, who highly appreciates the ballet, and personally attended the show.
