A performance of Melissa Hough’s Epic Short, from Norwegian National Ballet’s Sleepless Beauty project, set to music from Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto. Epic Short is an ironic reflection on the image of a classical ballerina in the modern world. The work was premièred in April this year and received a Critic’s Choice award as the best première from Dance Europe Magazine.
