In honor of the 250th anniversary of the State Hermitage Museum a semi-staged concert of baroque music Three portraits will be perfomed by the Ensemble of Catherine the Great, conducted by Andrey Reshetin…
Perhaps best described as ‘a performance-happening’ “Three Portraits” takes us inside the incredible lives of the creators of the Fêtes galantes: the Chevalier de Saint Georges, captain of the Royal Musketeers; the outstanding astronomer William Herschel and the legendary Comte de Saint Germain. The action takes place in the historical interiors of the Menshikov Palace.
